MARCH 29 - MAY 17
Mondays 4:00 - 5:30 PM | Ages 7 - 14
Time Zone: Central Time (US & Canada)
In 2017 the world was introduced to best friends James & Lila in The Mysterious New Neighbor from the young authors a program that was soon to be called Creative Writing Collaborative.
Although this book was written by a group students younger than students in our CWC and the book didn't go through the publishing steps that a book would in today's course, it was a shining example of collaboration and creativity! We knew we were on to something when we met Lila & James and thus the Creative Writing Collaborative was born!
Creative Writing Collaborative
The Creative Writing Collaborative is a 8-week interactive online creative writing course for ages 7 - 14. It was designed to inspire students to write creatively, to strengthen their writing skills and understanding, as well as to provide opportunities to collaborate with their peers using Professor Qwbli’s unique play-based methods.
Although there are a few deadlines, for the most part students can work at their own pace on their own time anywhere they have a wifi signal. That includes working from a mobile phone, tablet, laptop or desktop.
Students will collaboratively create a published book that will be printed and given to each student upon completion of the course. Copies of the book will also be available at Professor Qwbli's locations and available on our upcoming online store. 100% of the proceeds from the sales go directly to the young authors and contributors of the book.
The Creative Writing Collaborative! is a fantastic way to improve your child’s writing proficiency and creative thought while engaging and challenging them with a fun, interactive experience.
The Creative Writing Collaborative! helps students unlock their writing potential to become more creative, convincing, and compelling writers. Writing is a fantastic way for children of all ages to learn more about who they are, what they like and dislike, their interests, as well as their thoughts and feelings. It’s also a healthy and creative outlet that keeps your children sharp!
